Safety & Conduct Declarations

I will not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs my ability to drive safely.

I will not harass, intimidate, or disrespect passengers in any way. I will maintain professional conduct at all times.

I will not carry unauthorised passengers in the vehicle during a GoCab trip.

I will not change the agreed price after a trip has been accepted without GoCab approval.

I will not cancel trips without a valid reason. Repeated cancellations may result in suspension.

I will not share passenger contact details with any third party.

I will not solicit bookings from GoCab passengers outside the platform during the period I am registered as a GoCab driver.

I will report all incidents, accidents, and suspicious behaviour to GoCab immediately.

I will keep my vehicle clean, roadworthy, and compliant at all times while registered on the platform.

I will respect passenger privacy and follow GoCab's safety, dispute, and incident process.

POPIA Consent & Data Protection

I consent to GoCab collecting and storing my personal information (ID, licence, vehicle details, background checks) for the purpose of driver onboarding and verification.

I consent to GoCab verifying my identity, documents, vehicle, licence, and safety status through third-party verification services.

I consent to GoCab contacting me via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or phone for trip requests, support, compliance updates, and safety alerts.

I understand that my name, photo, vehicle make, model, colour, and registration number will be shared with passengers for safety and trip confirmation purposes.

I confirm that all information submitted in this application is accurate and truthful. I understand that providing false information may result in immediate rejection or permanent ban.
